Beautifully handmade with care in our Kent workshop, Mercer combines timeless design with everyday practicality. Featuring a spacious storage compartment beneath its hinged lid, it's the perfect solution for keeping blankets, cushions, toys and everyday essentials neatly tucked away while maintaining a calm, beautifully organised home.
Designed to complement both classic and contemporary interiors, Mercer is as stylish as it is functional. Upholstered by hand and crafted to order, its elegant silhouette provides the perfect canvas for luxurious textured weaves or bold patterned fabrics, creating a bespoke piece that's as beautiful as it is practical.

Main fabric: 3 metres
Optional contrast piping: An additional 1 metre of your chosen contrast fabric
All boxes are lined inside as standard with black lining fabric. If you would like to choose your lining fabric, please let me know and I will advise how much fabric you will need.
Every ottoman is made to order and upholstered in a fabric of your choice. Send us a fabric you love — whether it’s a beautifully understated plain or a pattern that makes a statement — or take your pick from our small, carefully considered selection.
If you’re supplying your own fabric, simply email us at info@thecroftupholstery.com and we’ll send you the details for where to send it. You’ll find the required meterage listed alongside each design, but if your chosen fabric has a large pattern repeat, or you’re unsure how much you’ll need, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise.
To work out the approximate cost of your fabric, simply multiply the required meterage by the fabric’s retail price per metre.
Lead times are typically 6–7 weeks from receipt of your fabric. For bespoke sizes or custom designs, this may be a little longer.
